Who we are
We are an expert team of social scientists, AI nerds and policy wonks who have assembled to figure out why a third of proposed clean energy projects in the US are delayed due to community opposition, and what we can do about it.

Our core belief is that the best conversations start with listening, so before we got here we interviewed >250 local leaders, developers and researchers.
We've learnt that we're measuring tangible inputs like capacity and environmental risk but previous efforts often miss the most important component: people.
We've seen how community engagement leads with effective local context can achieve remarkable outcomes. However, accessing that context currently takes hours of manual desk research, and time away from the conversations that matter.

With PermitPal, engagement leads have local context at their fingertips, setting teams up for conversations that start with listening and end with project approval.
